

He was born in Beeville, Texas, on February 13, 1930, to Victor and Lucia Villarreal. He was married to his beloved wife, Mary Villareal, for 74 wonderful years.
Catarino was a dedicated business owner and a man of strong faith who had a deep passion for working in the service of the Gospel.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Lucia Villarreal; his siblings, Emilio Villarreal, Caroline Rodriguez, Rafael Villarreal, and Lupe Torres; and his son, Catarino Villareal Jr.
He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Villareal; his children, Yvonne Chapa and spouse Antonio, Gene Villareal and spouse Raquel, Lillian Villareal, and Sandra Villareal; 10 grandchildren, Cassandra Papa, Alexandra Ramirez, Catherine Morales, Antonio N. Chapa,
Jessica Gaitan, Jacqueline Ramirez, Victoria Gamboa, Jade Villareal, Gene Villareal Jr., and Zion Villareal; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Catarino will be remembered for his unwavering faith, devotion to family, and lifetime of service
to others.
A visitation will be held for Catarino at Forest Park East Funeral Home, located at 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598, on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
The funeral service will take place at the same venue on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at 10:00 am. The committal service will follow at 11:00 am at Forest Park East Cemetery, located at 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598.
Mary M. Villareal, 95, of Houston, passed away on October 11, 2025.
She was born in El Campo, Texas, on August 28, 1930, to Benito and Rosa Munguia. She was married to her beloved husband, Catarino C. Villareal, for 74 wonderful years.
Mary was a devoted co-business owner and homemaker, known for her faith, kindness, and deep love for her family. She had a lifelong passion for working in the service of the Gospel.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Catarino C. Villareal; her parents, Benito and Rosa Munguia; her son Catarino Villareal Jr and her siblings, Mecinda Chacon, Julia Smith, Elias Munguia, Jesus Munguia, Amelia Munguia, and Benito V. Munguia.
She is survived by her children, Yvonne Chapa and spouse Antonio, Gene Villareal and spouse Raquel, Lillian Villareal, and Sandra Villareal; her 10 grandchildren, Cassandra Papa, Alexandra
