Her family moved to Odessa, Texas about 1954, where she attended Odessa High School. She met her future husband, Bill, and they became high school sweethearts. They were married soon after she graduated from high school.
Bill and Ann made their home in the Odessa, Texas area until moving to Pasadena, Texas in 1968. Bill began a career with Motorola, Inc. and Ann began a successful career with Mary Kay Cosmetics. She loved her work as beauty consultant, while teaching other women how to look their best and take pride in their appearance. She spent 50 years with Mary Kay Cosmetics and rose to the position of senior sales director. She received many awards and won 10 new cars during her career.
In 2017-2018 she began to feel the effects of dementia and in March 2018 she had to undergo surgery on her brain. That began a decline in her health until her passing on December 28, 2018.
Ann was a faithful and active member of the Burke Road Church of Christ in Pasadena, Texas, then became a faithful member of the Parkgate Community Church in Pasadena.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Louis Ulbrich, Jr.
She is survived by Bill Hollowell, her husband of 62 years; daughter, Debbie Reyes of Seabrook, Texas; son, Steve Hollowell of Houston, Texas; granddaughter, Alexandra Reyes of Seabrook, Texas; and sister, Sandra Miller of Enterprise, Alabama.
Ann will be missed by her family who loved her very much.
