With heavy hearts and unwavering love, we announce the passing of Celso Escobar Jr., a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, great-grandfather, cherished brother, beloved son, and loyal friend. His kindness, strength, and unconditional love for his family touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy will continue to live on through the countless lives he impacted.
Celso was the beloved husband of Maria D. Escobar.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Celso Escobar Senior and Dominga Escobar, as well as his beloved sons, Oscar Lewis Escobar and Celso “Mike” Escobar. While their loss left an everlasting place in his heart, we find comfort in imagining the joyful reunion that took place as they welcomed him home into the presence of the Lord. Also waiting to welcome him home was his precious great-grandson, Ian. Though Oscar and Mike were taken far too soon, their love lives on through their children. Oscar is survived by his daughter, Nerissa, and Celso “Mike” is survived by his daughters, Victoria and Alexis, who will continue to carry their fathers’ memories in their hearts.
Celso also leaves behind his seven beloved siblings, Tina, Gilbert, Elba, Jaime, Linda, Melba, and Abelardo, with whom he shared a lifetime of memories, laughter, and an unbreakable bond. Their love for one another remained constant throughout the years, and they will forever cherish the time they were blessed to spend together.
Celso leaves behind five loving children who will forever treasure the lessons, love, and memories he gave them:
Roger and his spouse, Ilda, along with their beloved fur babies, Milo and Toby.
Richard and his spouse, Michele, and their children: Eric, Aliyah, Elaina, Arianna, and Ricky.
Becky and her spouse, Biagio, and their daughters: Emiliana and Isabella.
Stephanie and her spouse, Ronald, and their children: Ronald Jr., Romeo, Rosabella, Royce, and Raziella.
Alex and his spouse, Tara, and their children: Zailynn, Liliana, Xavier, Aubrey, and Travis.
His family was the greatest blessing of his life, and nothing brought him more joy than spending time with those he loved.
For 50 years, Celso faithfully dedicated himself to working for the Pappa’s family, where he became known for his remarkable work ethic, loyalty, and dependability. He believed in the value of hard work and took great pride in providing for those he loved.
Outside of work, Celso embraced life with joy. He was known as a pool shark, always ready for a game and often leaving the table victorious. He loved watching sports, cheering passionately for his favorite teams, and never missed an opportunity to get out on the dance floor. Whether sharing stories, making people laugh, or simply enjoying the company of family and friends, he had a way of making everyone feel welcome.
To know Celso was to know genuine kindness, quiet strength, and unconditional love. He taught his family the importance of hard work, perseverance, and always putting his loved ones first. His presence was a source of comfort, his wisdom a guiding light, and his love is a gift that will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
Though our hearts are broken by his passing, we find peace knowing he has been reunited with those who went before him. His life was a blessing, his memory a treasure, and his love will continue to guide us until we meet again.
Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever in our hearts.
