

Pat was born in Houston Texas on 16 March 1935 and grew up on Galveston Island. He graduated in 1953 from Ball High School where he was President of Student Council, played trumpet in the school band, and was a pitcher and catcher for the baseball team. Pat received his Bachelors of Science degree in Pharmacy from the University of Houston in 1960. Pat proudly served in the United States Army for two years in Korea as a radio operator and one year stateside as a pharmacy assistant. While working on his degree at UH, Pat met and married his wife of 40 years Clemmie Jeanette “Janet” Reich of Spring. After completing his degree and tours of duty, Pat worked for Hillcroft Pharmacy in Houston before moving to Kemah where he opened the first pharmacy in Seabrook Texas. He relocated his family to the South Belt area in the middle 70s where he owned and operated Pat’s Pharmacy on Fuqua. In the early 90s, Pat moved back to Kemah to care for his parents where he stayed for the rest of his life. Pat was very active with friends and graduates from Ball High School, he never met a stranger, loved animals, loved to garden, and his heart was as deep as the ocean. Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla was his favorite ice cream.
Pat Reich is preceded in death by his father Charles Ben Reich, mother Zolo Neva High both of Galveston, wife Janet of Spring and his best friend of 78 years Walt Wilkerson of Galveston Texas.
He is survived by his sister, Florence Alma “Babe” Reich and his son Charles Patrick Reich, both of Houston.
Visitation will be held on Monday 16 October 2017 from 5-8pm at Greater Harvest Community Church. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 17 October 2017 at 12pm at Greater Harvest Community Church followed by a graveside service with military honors at Forest Park East in League City. A procession with police escort will be provided.
