He worked for Dow Chemical as an Operator. Classie was a member of the Engineering Operators Union as well as the Master Gardner Association. He had a passion for gardening, education and most of all his family.
He is survived by wife, Alice Swenson; daughter, Rosemary Kennedy and husband Bobby; grandchildren, Christopher Swenson and Derek Tristan; great-granddaughter on the way July 5, 2017.
Graveside service will be held Friday, April 14, 2017 at 10:00 am at Forest Park East Cemetery, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas 77598.
