

Clifton Ray Fogleman, lovingly known as Ray and Poppy, went to be with the Lord on August 18, 2022, at the age of 70. Ray was born in Cleveland, Texas on September 13, 1951. He is preceded in death by his father, D.C., and his sister, Judith Anne.
Ray is survived by his children, Jana Paxton, her husband, Jonathan and their children, Hollie, Aidan and Lydon; Jeff Fogleman, his wife, Kim, and their children Kaylie, Kendra, Kara and Nate; and two great grandchildren, Emma and Eloise.
Ray is also survived by his mother, Vivian Fogleman; his brother, Benny Fogleman and his wife, Delana, and multiple nieces and nephews.
Ray graduated H. Grady Spruce High School in Dallas, Texas in 1970.
He was a master carpenter and a member of the local Carpenters Union. He later worked as an Offshoreman for Brown & Root.
He was also an ordained minister and lived a life of generosity, faith and love of others.
Ray began his career in insurance in 1981 at the age of thirty, owning his own agency until his retirement.
Ray was an avid fisherman, craftsman and could fix almost anything. Two of his most well-known traits were determination and perfection. Once he set his mind to do something, he did it and he did it his way.
The greatest love in Ray’s life was his family. He lived for family gatherings and never failed to tell each and every family member, “Love you bunches!”
His passing leaves an immense hole in our hearts, but we will fill it with the cherished memories, laughs and love that he leaves behind.
A visitation for Ray will be held Wednesday, August 24, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., service at 2:00 p.m. and a reception to follow. All services will be held at Forest Park East Funeral Home located at 21620 Gulf Freeway in Webster, Texas. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared below for the Fogleman family.
