Corine Licht, age 76, of Houston, Texas passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2024. In May of 1947, she was welcomed into the world by her parents; Leslie and J.T. Sheffield. After graduating high school, Corine went on to cosmetology school. Although equip with new talents following her education in trade school, she eventually landed a career in catering which the thoroughly enjoyed until her retirement in 1999. She loved her Houston Astros, her laugh could light up a room, and the warmth of her love engulfed her family as well as many friends.
Corine is survived by her daughter; Connie, and grandsons; Michael and Cody.
Her parents; J.T. and Leslie, her six siblings, along with the love of her life; Jimmy, precede her in death.
A memorial gathering for Corine will be held Saturday, February 24, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Forest Park East Funeral Home, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 PM.
