Cyressa was born in Hale Center, Texas on August 15, 1960. She was raised in Sweetwater until the family moved to the Clear Lake area of Houston in 1973. A 1978 graduate of Clear Lake High School, her customer service/people skills were used in the retail, hotel, automotive and grocery business in the Clear Lake area.
Predeceased by her parents, E.W. and Joy Harkleroad, she leaves behind her sister Elizabeth Sullivan and husband Tom, nephew Sean Sullivan and wife Jennifer, along with great nephew Layden Sullivan and great niece Annora Sullivan. Also surviving her are an aunt and numerous cousins.
