Damian S. Hurtado, 41, of Santa Fe, Texas passed away May 29, 2021. He was born in Galveston, Texas on August 17, 1979. He worked for Oak Creek Homes of Alvin, but his passion was for soccer and music. He played with an adult soccer team and never missed a game of his favorite team Manchester City. He was a lead guitarist with a local band. His love for jazz and blues music will live on through his band mates and the music they played.
Damian was preceded in death by both of his grandfathers Tomas Hurtado and Jesus Lopez.
He is survived by his wife Megan Hurtado; grandmother Pascuala Hurtado, parents Salvador and Maria Hurtado; sister Carmen Hurtado; nephews Marcus Simpson and Jayden Dansby; aunt Rafaela Gonzalez; uncles Jesse Hurtado, Fransisco Lopez, and Gustavo Lopez; along with numerous cousins and a ton of friends!
A visitation will be held on Friday, June 4, 2021 at Forest Park East Funeral Home and Cemetery in Webster, Texas from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 7:30 p.m. A funeral mass will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church at 15500 El Camino Real in Houston, Texas.
