He was born August 4, 1956, in Dallas, TX, son to the late James and Patricia Conway.
David grew up in Alamogordo and Las Cruces, NM, playing baseball with his brother. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree from New Mexico State University. He landed in Houston, TX, where he worked in IT and met several lifelong friends. David ran his own PC store and worked technical roles at the Lutcher Theater in Orange, TX, before moving with his family to Singapore, where he had the opportunity to travel all over Asia. After returning to Texas, he continued to travel, taking road trips across the US. His love for trains got him involved with the Galveston County Model Railroad Club. He enjoyed collecting guitars, quoting silly movies, and dancing at any opportunity.
David had always been active in a church community and was an ordained minister. He served in a variety of ways over the years, sometimes holding formal roles like associate pastor and sometimes serving behind the scenes. He operated the cameras at Clear Creek Community Church some Sundays.
He is survived by his wife, Suzan Conway, his former wife, Margie Williams, their daughter, Michelle Kessler, his son-in-law, Todd Kessler, his brother and sister-in-law, Marshall and Stefanie Conway, his nephews, Ryan and Kyle Conway, and many beloved friends and family members.
