David Lindsay Jr., 94, of League City, passed away on January 12, 2024. He was one of the hardest workers you would ever meet, dedicating over 50 years to his craft as a Master Brick Mason. David was a 32nd degree Mason in the local 1053 lodge, member of The Masons, and International Union of Brick Layers. He took great pride in his work.
In his free time, David enjoyed reading books about the wild west and history, as well as metal detecting and watching western movies. He had a sharp wit and always had a joke to tell. David was known for his resourcefulness and ability to figure out how to do or fix anything. He also enjoyed cooking his favorites, gumbo and potato soup. David was a member of the Moose Lodge and Eastern Stars.
David is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Margaret Lindsay, his children Lou and (David) Sloan, Bruce and (Tracey) Lindsay, Gary Wayne and (Charlene) Lindsay, Don and (Cindy) Uzzell, Patricia Ashmore. (Carl) and Rene Cannayo, and Joan Ennis, 10 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents David and Mary Lindsay Sr., sister Norma Lindsay, and Troy and Adam Uzzell and Ronnie Haygood.
