

Debbie worked in many professions throughout her life that included – cosmetology, healthcare and legal. She opened her hair salon in Lumberton, Tx; earned her CNA and later her paralegal certificate from the University of Houston.. She also worked many years in the Asset Recovery industry.
She was active in the Order of the Eastern Star in the mid 1970’s. She also volunteered with Brigid’s Hope and enjoyed attending Brigid’s Place events. She loved cooking, antiquing, and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. She loved animals and always had a dog by her side. She was a loving granddaughter, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and aunt.
She was preceded in death by both of her parents and her beloved maternal grandmother and great aunt.
She is survived by her children Tammy (Billy) Bates, Tim (Beth) Bryant and Tina (Thomas) Eaton; Her 9 grandchildren Lewis Holland, Presley Bates, Tucker, Madelyn, Cody and Bette Bryant and Cheyenne, Charlie, and Waylon Eaton and 1 great grandson Lewis Holland III. She is also survived by her brother James Canaan, sister Pam (Jim) Lyle and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Deborah will be held Thursday, January 12, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598. A funeral service will occur Friday, January 13, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598. A graveside service will occur Friday, January 13, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM, 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598.
