Deborah Louise Gaeckler Speeg, 68, of Houston, Texas passed away on March 6, 2024. She was born in Houston, Texas on October 23, 1955 to Carl Wayne Gaeckler, Sr. and Minnie Louise Gaeckler. She had a passion for plants and animals, and a love for Christ. She loved to help others who were in need especially when they had nowhere else to go.
Debbie was preceded in death by her parents Carl Wayne Gaeckler, Sr. and Minnie Louise Gaeckler; and her grandparents Eugene F. Gaeckler and Agnes Helen Cates and George “Jack” Henry Gorman and Caroline “Lena” Louise Fischer Gorman.
She is survived by her children Steven Patterson, Lori McBride and spouse Sean, and Katherine Louise Speeg; grandchildren Brandon Patterson, Kyle Patterson, Trevor Patterson, KayLynn Patterson, Celeste McBride, and Rian McBride; brother Carl Wayne Gaeckler, Jr. and partner Pattie Galloway.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 18, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Forest Park East Funeral Home.
