Deborah Ann Mize

Born on January 31, 1955 in Dallas, TX. Debbie was known for her warmth and unwavering love for her family. She was a devoted mother to Jennifer Carlisle, Thomas Carlisle (daughter-in-law, Monica Carlisle), Patrick Byrd and Danielle Byrd, and a beloved grandmother to Hayden Carlisle, Tiffany Byrd, Trinity Stone, Taylor Byrd, and Evan Carlisle. She is survived by her brother, Laurence Wilson, and many nieces and nephews who adored her.

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, Doyle Wilson and Norma Wilson, and siblings John Campisi (sister-in-law, Kay Campisi), Diane Strimple (brother-in-law, Larry Strimple) and George Wilson.

Debbie had an unwavering faith in God, love of her family and friends, and many special pets that were dear to her heart. She was always up for fun and a good time and had a special gift for bringing smiles and laughter to those around her. As her great nephew once said “she’s funny without even trying”. She will be deeply missed and her family and friends have many unforgettable stories and memories that have left a mark on our hearts that will last a lifetime.

The world got a little dimmer when she left us-but her impact on the lives she touched and family she loved so deeply will never be forgotten.

A Celebration of Life to honor Deborah Ann Wilson Mize will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at 11:30 a.m. at La Brisa League City, at 501 N Wesley Dr. Lunch will be provided.
