He was born in Springfield, Massachusetts on August 25, 1958, to Donald John Wagner and Audrey Wagner.
Don moved to Deer Park, Texas from Massachusetts where he had a career as a structural engineer for 40 plus years and would retire with KBR.
He had a passion for fishing around Seabrook and El Lago, deer hunting, and his dog Buddy. Don’s hobbies included gambling, cheering for the Astros and most importantly spending time with his family. He was quiet, stubborn, stern, enjoyed alone time, a jokester, and in a loving way loved to pick on the kids.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Audrey Wagner.
He is survived by his children Don S. Wagner and his wife Amanda, Brooke Bryant and her husband Jonathan; grandchildren, Braiden, Presley and Dakota; sister Kim Butler and her husband Paul; brother Mike and his wife Patti; along with numerous nieces and nephews, and Buddy.
A visitation and reception will be held at Forest Park East Funeral Home on Monday, November 11, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm with a service to follow at 4:00 pm.
