Donna Lynn Youngblood, age 65, of Houston, Texas passed away on Monday, April 1, 2024. She was born in California on October 2, 1958, to parents Lee W and Billie Jean Dougharty. Donna is survived by her beloved husband of 47 years, Revell Youngblood, daughter, Lacy and husband, Seth Shields, and granddaughter, Charlotte Belle.
Donna graduated from Jasper High School in 1976, and shortly after, married Revell on September 4, 1976. In 1981, they moved to Pasadena, Texas where they have lived ever since. Donna dedicated her whole life to her family, being a proud dance Mom for Lacy and a very proud pageant Grammy for Charlotte. Her hobbies included collecting Christmas villages and sewing outfits for Charlotte.
Donna worked for the Pasadena Independent School District for 29 years, until her retirement in December. She was excited to spend retired life watching her granddaughter with her husband and was the best Grammy anyone could ever ask for.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Lee W and Billie Jean Dougharty, sisters Mona Martindale and Peggy Orchosky, and many other beloved family members. She is survived by her husband, Revell, her daughter, Lacy Shields and husband, Seth, granddaughter, Charlotte Belle, sisters, Sherry Dotson and Karen Renfroe, brother Mark Dougharty and wife, Rosa, and countless nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at Forest Park East Funeral Home from 5 to 8 PM. Funeral services will be on Sunday, April 7, 2024, at 10 AM with interment to follow. Services and Interment will be at Forest Park East Funeral Home and Cemetery.
