Doris Allene Dickerson, 90, of League City passed away June 9, 2020. She was born in Winnie, Texas on August 27, 1929 to Louis Martin and Violet Ramey. She was married to Cecil Dickerson for 43 years. Doris worked as a housewife, mother, mamaw, and was a retired crossing guard. She was a member of Texas Ave Baptist Church and had a passion for family, friends, and food.
She was preceded in death by her husband Cecil V. Dickerson, mother Violet Ramey, father Louis Martin, brothers Louis Martin Jr. and James Martin, sister Juanita Martin, and great-granddaughter Ashley Nicole Crenshaw.
She is survived by daughters Patricia Magliolo, Linda Hardwick, and Vanessa Dickerson, 9 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren, and brothers Gene Martin, Ray Martin, and David Martin.
Visitation will be held Friday, June 12 from 5:00-8:00PM in the Chapel of Forest Park East Funeral Home located at 21620 Gulf Freeway Webster, Texas with a funeral service Saturday, June 13th at 10:00AM. Immediately following she will be laid to rest at Forest Park East Cemetery.
