Doris Marie Koenig Green

Doris Marie Koenig Green, 81, of Nassau Bay, Texas, passed away September 17, 2016. She was born in Elgin, Texas on August 21, 1935 to John Delbert and Lillie Mae Gunn Koenig. She was married to Durwood Green for 29 years. Doris had a career in accounting and construction for family owned industrial painting companies Shandee Corp, D.M. Industrial, and Reata Corp. She had passion for her work, family, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Durwood Green, parents, John Delbert and Lillie Mae Gunn Koenig, brother, Robert Harold Koenig and sister, Barbara Joyce Koenig Thomas.

She is survived by her daughter, Susan Green, son and daughter-in-law, Philip and Melissa Green, son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Kim Green, step daughter, Shannon Green Molinari, sister-in-law, Shirley Koenig, brother-in-law, Bill Green, grandchildren, Shawn and Brandi Phillips, Hunter and Nataly Green, Casey Green, Taylor Green, Shane Molinari, Max Molinari, great-grandchildren, Jalen Kinney, Ella Phillips and Lily Phillips.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of customary remembrances, contributions in Doris' memory may be directed to Altus Hospice of Sugarland or a charity of your choice.
