Dorothy Barber Baker of League City, Texas, was born April 16, 1925 in Austin, Texas and passed from this earthly life on August 27, 2017, at her home with her loving family beside her. Left to cherish her memories are her six children, eighteen grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
Mrs. Baker graduated from St. Mary’s Academy in Austin, Texas in 1940. As a devout Catholic, she lived her life providing all she knew with a sense of giving and love. As a loving wife, she along with her husband, life time love and soulmate, Patrick Loos Baker, taught us all the definition of true love. As a proud and loving mother, she dedicated her entire life to always giving of herself and her time leaving us all with an over-whelming example of unconditional love. As a loving native Texan, she remained a dedicated fan of the University of Texas Longhorns and the Houston Texans. She was our teacher, role model, guardian, protector, counselor, and biggest fan. She will be remembered lovingly and missed greatly.
Funeral Mass at St. Mary Catholic Church, 1612 East Walker Street, League City, Texas, 77573 10:00 a.m Saturday, October 28, 2017. Inurnment will be at the National Cemetery in Houston, Texas, (date pending), where her ashes will be placed along with the ashes of her beloved husband Patrick Loos Baker. Together in life; together forever in Heaven.
