

Dwayne Wesley Forque died on June 8, 2017 in Houston after a courageous battle with cancer. Dwayne was born on August 15, 1950 in Houston, TX to his parents, Edward Wallace Forque and Alice Terry Forque. After graduating from high school in Texas City, Dwayne served proudly in the 71st Airborne Brigade of the Texas Army National Guard for over 5 years. Shortly after his service, Dwayne met and married Michelle Wilson in 1979. Dwayne began his career as a commercial fisherman and eventually transitioned to an 18-year career with LyondellBasell. He retired in 2007 and settled in Winnie, TX where he and Michelle owned and operated two RV parks. Dwayne treasured his time with his grandchildren and harassing speckled trout in East Bay.
Dwayne is survived by his wife, Michelle; his daughter, April Thomas and her husband Jimmy; his son, Hugh Forque and wife, Stephanie; his sister Mary Pledger and her husband, Randy; his brother, Terry Forque and his wife, Pam; and his grandchildren, Ashton, Parker, Olivia, Harrison, Evelyn, and Graham. Dwayne is preceded in death by his parents, Alice and Wallace Forque.
A casual graveside service will be held at 2:00 on June 12, 2017 at Forest Park East Cemetery, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, TX. In lieu of flowers, please donate to MD Anderson Palliative Care Unit in Houston.
