Born on April 4, 1954, in Cordele, Georgia, to James and Pauline Crenshaw, Bo lived a life centered on what mattered most to him: family, friendship, and making memories with those he loved.
Bo shared 41 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Gay Crenshaw. Together, they built a life filled with love, raised two sons, Daniel and James, and were blessed with five grandchildren who brought him tremendous happiness and pride.
A hardworking and dedicated man, Bo worked for United Rentals. Outside of work, he loved BBQ, cook-offs, playing pool, and hitting the open road. Whether he was competing in a cook-off, enjoying a game of pool, or spending time with family, Bo knew how to appreciate life's simple pleasures.
One of Bo's greatest joys was spending time with his grandchildren. He especially treasured the road trips he took with his oldest grandson, traveling nearly every year for the past three years to attend one of the largest airshows. Those adventures were more than trips; they were chances to make memories, share stories, and enjoy time together that will be cherished forever.
Above all, Bo was a family man. He took great pride in the family he and Gay built together and was especially proud of both of his sons and their military service. His love for his family was evident in the time he spent with them, the memories they shared, and the pride he carried for each of them.
Bo was preceded in death by his parents, James and Pauline Crenshaw; his brother, James Crenshaw Jr.; and his sisters, Cheryl Shaw and Virgie Crenshaw.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 41 years, Gay Crenshaw; his sons, Daniel Crenshaw and James Crenshaw; and his five beloved grandchildren, Mason Crenshaw, Rylie Crenshaw, Michael Crenshaw, Krysta Crenshaw, and Danielle “Dani” Crenshaw. He is also survived by his sisters, Myrtle Young and Diane Robbins; his brother, David Crenshaw; and numerous extended family members and loved ones.
While Bo's passing leaves an emptiness in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, his memory will live on through the family he cherished, the stories shared around the BBQ pit, the road trips, the laughter, and the countless moments that made his life so special.
His greatest legacy will not be measured by the years he lived, but by the love he gave, the family he raised, and the memories he leaves behind.
Forever loved, deeply missed, and never forgotten.
