Mr. Davis was the kindest most gentle man. He was often greeting and passing out church bulletins on Sunday morning - his sweet spirit, bright smile, and hopeful outlook were a highlight of my Sundays at church. Although he will be missed, knowing he will be in heaven with the love of his life and his Lord and Savior give us joy and comfort.

Our thought, love, and prayers goes out to the Coleman and Davis family. To my dear sweet friend Lori - I know how you feel loosing your dad. I pray God give you peace in the chaos, clarity in the confusion, and joy in the sorrow. David - you are such a supportive and loving husband to Lori and a shining example of what a man of God should be to your girls. If no one has told you yet, thank you for being a pillar of strength for your family. To the girls - I know you will miss the time you spent with your grandad. Collecting coins, playing games and making memories... keep those times in your heart and he will be with you forever. I love you all and please know that we are so grateful to have been able to spend the time we had with your dad. Thank you for sharing him with us, what a wonderful gift. God bless.

Eddie was a kind and quiet man but if he was in the room, his presence was known. When we spoke on the phone there was always laughter. I have many fond memories of him and I know he will be greatly missed. Our hearts go out to all of you at the loss of your father. It is especially difficult when you have also lost your mother. Please keep in touch, even though your parents are gone , you all are still part of our family and we love you all. We are so sorry we are unable to make the trip to be there with you.

Uncle Eddie was a soft spoken man, kind and gentle spirited. I found him to be a happy man. Even though I seldom got to see him , occasionally we spoke on the phone. We even FaceTimed too. I loved him and will miss knowing he was there near all of his children and family. Our whole family is saddened at your loss. We pray for God’s strength and peace to carry you through the upcoming days. You will be in our prayers and our thoughts.
