She shared 62 wonderful years of marriage with her husband, L.P., before his passing in 2010. Together they built a life rooted in love, faith, and service to their community.
She was the beloved mother of James Marsh (wife, the late Jeanne), Linda Green (husband, Gary), and Debbie Magee (husband, Robert). Edna was also a cherished grandmother to four grandchildren: Joseph Michael; Matthew Marsh (wife, Allison); Erin Renée; and Dillon Marsh (husband, Matthew). She was blessed with one great-grandchild, Apollo, who brought her much joy.
Edna had a gift for sewing and was known throughout her family for making clothes for her children and, later, her grandchildren — a labor of love that reflected her caring, hands-on nature.
Edna dedicated much of her life to the Order of the Eastern Star, where she was a member for 70 years. She served as Worthy Matron three times alongside L.P., and went on to serve as Grand Warden of the Grand Chapter of Texas, later serving as Grand Representative along with many other appointments throughout her years of service. Her decades of dedication were honored recently when she received the Golden Star from the Grand Chapter of Texas.
Edna will be remembered as a devoted wife to the late L.P., a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and a woman whose life of service touched countless others.
A visitation will be held at Forest Park East Funeral Home and Cemetery on Monday, August 31, 2026 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm with a funeral service starting at 2:00 pm, then a family graveside and a reception for all to follow.
