

Elaine Marie Ramsey Lawley, born on February 16, 1939, in Los Angeles, CA. and came back to Kingsville, Texas as an infant. She peacefully passed away on August 17th in her home of over 50 years in Seabrook, Texas, with her husband, Lee, by her side. She leaves behind a legacy of love and strength and was a true force of nature and a woman of unwavering faith.
Elaine was preceded in death by her sisters, Carolyn Dykes and Janice Johnson, her mother Mildred Ramsey, father J. D. Ramsey, and her granddaughter Emilee English. She was reunited with them in the embrace of eternity.
Elaine is survived by her devoted husband, Cassie Levi Lawley, Jr. (Lee), and her loving children: Terri English, Helen Lawley, Matt Lawley, Karen Lawley and Yvonne Lawley. Her memory will also be cherished by her grandchildren: Jessica Reyna, Ashley Madrigal, Kyle Murfitt, Caleb Lawley, Levi English, Jacob English, Laney Lawley, Carli Lawley, Alex Minchew, and Derek Minchew.
Elaine's legacy of love continues through her great-grandchildren: Grayson Reyna, Phoenyx Madrigal, Ethan Reyna, Brooklyn Reyna, Opal Madrigal, Kylie Murfitt, and Atlas Madrigal and her many nieces and nephews.
Elaine's life was marked by her strength, kindness, and unwavering faith. She was a beacon of light and an inspiration to all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her spirit will forever live on in the hearts and memories of her family and friends.
As we mourn her passing, let us also celebrate the remarkable life she lived and the indelible impact she made on the lives of those around her. Elaine will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Elaine will be laid to rest at White Church Cemetery in Glen Rose, TX, Service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 26th at Wiley Funeral Home, 504 Holden St., Glen Rose, Texas 76043
