Elaine Ross, 82, passed away on November 29, 2015 in Houston, Texas. Elaine was born in Whitsett, North Carolina on November 11, 1933. Elaine was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ervin and Vance Baldwin, brother C.J. Baldwin and her loving husband, Tom Ross. Elaine is survived by her sister, Virginia Tucker, her step-son, Mike Ross and his wife Terri, her daughter Cathy Wilson and her husband, Duane, her daughter, Ginny Poche’ and her husband, Leo, and her niece, Dawn Smith and her husband Keith. Elaine leaves behind her grandchildren whom she adored - three granddaughters, Melissa, Katie and Laura Wilson and two grandsons, Christian and Mitchell Poche’. Elaine was passionate about her family and loved to care for others, especially by serving them her home-cooked food. She enjoyed a career at Reed Tool Company and was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Dickinson for over 50 years. She will be missed dearly by family and friends. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Forest Park East Funeral Home.
