Emmett Grubbs Jr.

Terry was a long time resident of Bacliff, TX. Born July 31, 1928 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Emmett Terry Grubbs, Sr. and Leah Straily Grubbs. He went to be with our Lord on June 30, 2011 at the age of 82.

Viewing will be held Tuesday, July 5, 2011 from 1- 3 P.M. at Forest Park East, 21260 Gulf Freeway, Webster, TX. Graveside services will begin at 3:00 P.M.

Terry retired from Monsanto after 33 years of service. He was an avid fisherman and an awesome cook. He loved family gatherings, good food and good music. He could play many instruments and even wrote a song or two.

Terry was preceded in death by his father Emmett Terry Grubbs, Sr., his mother Leah Straily Grubbs, his son Terry Lee Grubbs and his sister Laura Ellen Williams.

Survivors include four daughters and two sons - Deborah Jones, Plano, TX, Janna Gibson and husband Renn, Bacliff, TX, Carolyn Sullivan and husband Tim, Seabrook, TX and Geralyn Grubbs of Alaska...Gary Grubbs and wife Rebecca, Delight, Arkansas, Greg Grubbs, Trinity, TX and his long time companion Ms. Mae Shultz, Dickinson, TX.

Grandchildren - Jason Quinn, Jarrod Quinn and wife Tiffany, Lucas Sullivan and wife Andra, Holly Lobell, Steven Jones and wife Karen, Terry Lee Grubbs Jr., Reagan Grubbs, Ryann Grubbs, Benjamin Terry Grubbs and step grandchildren Nikki, Joshua, Renn II and Luke Gibson.

Great Grandchildren - Marcus and Tori Quinn, Taylor and Reed Quinn, Logan Easley, Kylee and Kaden Sullivan, Jessica Jones and step great grandchildren Gage and Kylen Savoie and Dannica Richard.
