Ernest Joseph Leonard, 73, of Seabrook, Texas passed away on September 8, 2021. Ernest was born on September 23, 1947 in Camden, New Jersey to Ernest and Rose Leonard.
Ernest grew up in Hammonton, New Jersey with his sister and brother. When Ernest was young, he enjoyed woodworking and playing pool. He joined the Navy in 1967, served for 20 years, retiring in 1986 from communications. He was endearingly headstrong and stubborn, never sugar-coating anything!
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Richard Leonard.
Ernest is survived by daughters Angelina Stahl and Debra Leonard; two grandsons Zachary Carley and Brennen Stahl; one great-granddaughter Audrey Carley; sister Diane Slick; four nieces; Patricia Leonard and Darryl Hodge.
