Eugene T. Tomol went to be with his Lord and Savior on April 16, 2011. He was born March 11, 1926 in Lester, PA. He proudly served in the Pacific Campaign in the United States Navy for four years. He worked at Continental Emsco in the machine shop as a drill press operator and advanced to Estimator and Processor. He was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church for forty five years, and served on the Board of Trustees. He was preceded in death by his first wife Doris Ann Tomol, brother Louis Tomol and sister Ella Thim. He is survived by his wife Marian I. Reid Tomol of Houston, TX. Children, Sherry E. Palmer of Arlington, TX. and Steven E. Tomol and Doddy Tomol of Hemphill, TX. Nephew Paul Grandchildren Tonja N. Hawver, Travis B. Palmer, Tracey M. Palmer, Tina Ann Tomol. Great grand children Gabriel I. Hawver and JonniRae Lynn Hawver. His much beloved extended family, Lawrence and Jackie Reid, Jeff and Karen Reid, Kim and Walter Huwyler, and Mark and Kathleen McMillen. Grand children Forrest Ball, Abigial Reid, Cameron Reid, Ray Reid, Rachel Reid, Griffin Reid, Zachary Huwyler, Kari Huwyler, and Zachary McMillen. Brother and Sister in law George and June Wendel of Greenwood Village, CO., Thomas Wendel of Houston, TX. Nephews Jimmy Joe and Jene Wendel, Ronnie and Francine Wendel of Wimberley, TX. Chris and Wade Wendel, Tommy Wendel, Nieces Heather and Donald Stone of Buffalo, TX., Kathy Wendel, Kelli and Stacey Wendel and family, and Marguerite and Elwood Gotshall of Westchester, PA., and Cousin Leroy and Dolly Ruppert and children Charles, Laura, and Peggy of York Town, TX. Family will reveice friends for visitation April 19, 2011 6 until 8 PM at Forest Park East Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held at St. Matthew Lutheran Church Wednesday April 20, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers the family request donation be to Gene's special lighting fund:
