

She was born in Houston on January 30, 1945 to Marguerite H. Carter and George R. Carter Sr.
She was married to Tom Tierney for 25 plus years. Eva had a career at Sunbelt Group Inc. as an executive assistant in the purchasing department for 35 years and had a passion for traveling, lunches with friends and the Multiple Sclerosis Society. She was a major dog lover who raised and showed Dalmatian dogs for years and afterwards always had a dog companion.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Marguerite H. Carter and George R. Carter Sr.; husband Tom Tierney and nephew Paul A. Carter.
She is survived by brother George Carter and wife Vickie; niece Julie Treadwell and husband Kevin; niece Ellen Brockett; nephews Jonathan Pesek and wife Laurie, Michael Pesek and wife Alicia; great-nephews Matthew Treadwell and wife Kari, Tyler and Ethan Brockett; great-niece Megan Cruz and husband Joshua; great-great-nephew Orlando Cruz; sister-in-law Cynthia Ramey and numerous friends.
A memorial service for Eva will be held Thursday, May 4, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
