Everett was born in Tulsa Oklahoma on March 9, 1947 to Clarence and Mary T. Hunt. He graduated from Will Rogers High School in Tulsa. Following high school, Everett joined the United States Navy where he served a tour in Vietnam. He was the recipient of two Purple Hearts.
Following his service, Everett moved to the Webster area where he owned and operated Hunt’s Foreign Automotive for over forty years.
When not working, you could find Everett enjoying many of his hobbies including scuba diving, photography, aviation, golfing, riding his motorcycle, traveling in his RV, dancing and playing the guitar.
Everett was a hard-working, honest, kind and dedicated family man. He was a very special person that would help where he was needed, provide for his family, and learned many skills to entertain his friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Hunt; parents Clarence and Mary T. Hunt and brother-in-law Nick Cooper.
He will be deeply missed by his family Fay Eger, Gail Cooper, Everett Hunt Jr., Jessica Thorpe, Robert and Genesis Hunt, Michael and Tina Hunt, Dianna and Brian Matlock, Lee and Ashley Hunt, Mary and Michael Herndon, Tyler Hunt, Stephan and Zachariah French, Skylar Herndon, Carter Thorpe, Madison and Regan Matlock, and has two great-granddaughters Amelia Paige and Nora June on the way.
