Fanny Medina

Fanny moved from Colombia to New York in 1971, where she met her future husband, Aaron. They married in 1973. Fanny and Aaron welcomed their only child, Edgar, in 1977, and the family moved to Houston, Texas in 1981. They achieved a dream of theirs, purchasing their first home in 1986. Sadly, Aaron died shortly thereafter. Fanny persevered as a single mother, working as a nanny and housekeeper, touching many lives in the process. Throughout her life, Fanny enjoyed long daily walks and gardening in her backyard.

Fanny was preceded in death by her husband, Aaron Medina. She is survived by her son, Edgar Medina and his wife, Elizabeth; grandchildren Alexander and Ellisen; and sisters Blanca Nora and Luz Miriam.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2023 from 10:00 am – 11:00 am with a service starting at 11:00 am and a committal to follow. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared below for the family.
