

Forrest “Jerry” Miller, 71, of Friendswood, Texas; Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather was born April 1, 1941 in Houston, Texas. He went to his forever home with the Lord on April 1, 2012 and will be deeply missed by all.
Jerry is preceded in death by his father, Forrest M. Miller, and mother Lucil Miller Bethea; brother Calvin Rash, granddaughter Marika Miller and great granddaughter Hanna Miller.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Joyce Elaine Miller; sons, Jerry “Glenn” Miller and Faith Solomon, Forrest “Joe” Miller and wife Sally, Jeffrey Lynn Miller and wife Sandra, James “Kevin” Miller, and John David Miller and wife Crystal; grandchildren, Nathan, Courtney, Nickolas, Christina, Shelby, Grant, Chelsea, Alyssa, Arianna, and Aiden Miller, Laurie Williams, Zachary Duer, Deryl Williams, Alexis Gonzalez, and Zachary and Alexis Weston; great grandchildren, Madeline Miller, Anson Carrol, Shaylynn and Brianna Canady, Liliana Alvarez, Madison, Cade and Kylie Duer, Reese, Sam, Gabe and Grace Williams; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.
Jerry spent his career working in the automotive industry and retired from his leadership position with Ford at the age of 63 so he could spend more time with his family. He enjoyed fishing and golfing but first and foremost was a family man that was dedicated to his five sons, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Jerry was a strong and courageous man and was always positive through his two year battle with pancreatic cancer. He was a great example for others to follow and provided unconditional love through life’s challenges.

A visitation with be held on Wednesday, April 4, 2012, from 6 to 8 pm and Memorial Services on Thursday, April 5, 2012, at 12:30 pm at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, Texas 77598, (281) 332-3111. The Rev. Donald McEntire will officiate. There will be a private family inurnment.
