Frank Winston Cooper Sr., 89 of Friendswood, Tx, passed away February 5, 2024. He was born in Birmingham, Alabama on September 28, 1934 to James Walter and Clara Rice Cooper. He was married to Gloria for 37 years. Frank worked in the refractory industry for JT Thorpe, Leavesley-McCollum, Hi-Tech, Diamond, and Southwest Refractory. He was a member of The Bricklayers Local #7, The American Legion and had a passion for hard work, poker, and his family.
He was preceded in death by his wife; Gloria, and grandson; Frank W. Cooper III
Frank is survived by his children; Mary Lou and husband; Mike Hicks, Frank Jr. and wife; Stacey Rae, Linda Renee and husband; Jerry Mathews, grandchildren; Kevin Christopher and wife Lea Beth, Makenzie Rae and husband Mathew Spell, great grandchildren; Hayden Noah Spell and future great grandson; sister in laws; Ann Cooper and Barbara Cooper, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
