

Frank L. Webb, was born October 9, 1920, in Corsicana, Texas; Frank was called to Heaven’s Gates on The Fourth of July, 2012. He will be missed by all who knew him. Frank was a World War II Veteran, landing in France on D-Day +6. He received the Military Order of the Purple Heart. He was a member of many organizations including: the Episcopal Church, Houston’s Baseball Umpire Association, a life member of the Scottish Rite, Park Place A.F. & A.M. # 1172, a member of the National Order of the Trench Rats, V.F.W. Amvets, and Disabled American Veterans Chapter # 9, Houston. He was a Past State Commander of the D.A.V. Frank constantly volunteered at the Houston V.A. Hospital and always stayed active in Friendswood Civic affairs. He enjoyed bringing joy to others as a volunteer clown. Frank is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Josephine B. Webb, son, John Webb and wife Janet; son Robert Webb and wife Latreece; daughter Janice Eubanks and husband Ted. Sisters of Frank include Velma Packard of Oklahoma City, and Doretta Rychlik of Stafford. Frank has 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday, July 8, 5-7 pm and service will be at Monday, July 9, at 10 am at Forest Park East in Webster. Reverend Winfield “Casey” Jones will be officiating.
