Freida J. Harper

She was preceded in death by her father, Hugh L. Tate Sr. , her husband John L. Harper Sr., brother Joe David Tate, and sister Beverly Gail Briggs.

S urvivors include mother, Clarice Powell of Oakdale Tennessee, daughter, Deborah Waters of Houston, son and daughter in law, John L. Jr. and Wanda Harper, of Texas City, grand children Crystin Waters of Dallas, Shane Waters of Houston, Zachry Waters of Houston, Ashley Martinez of Texas City, Dustin Clifton of Texas City and 2 Great grand children. Sisters Brenda and Danny Hartline of Calhoun Ga., Phyllis and Bill Weaver of Nashville Tenn., brothers, Hugh L. Jr. and Ruth Ann Tate and Harold and Melissa Tate all of Harriman, Tenn., Tommy and Cheryl Tate of Tampa, Fla., and Howard Tate of Calhoun, Ga., and many aunts , uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Vistiation will be on Sunday, September 16, 2012, from 4 pm to 6pm. A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 17, 2012, at 10 am,Pastor Johnny Angle will be officiating, at Forest Park East Funeral Home.
