Gilbert Bailey, 77, of Houston, Texas, passed away on June 7th, 2023. He was born in Brownsville, Texas on September 23rd, 1946, to Lenora & George Bailey. He was married to Minerva Bailey for 53 years. Gilbert worked as a mechanist for American Pole. He was a member of every corner of his profession because he had a passion for hard work and helping those he considered friends in and around his life.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father as well as some of his siblings.
He is survived by his wife; Minerva Bailey, his son; Gilbert Bailey Jr. as well as Narcissus Lopez and Alberto Trejo.
A visitation for Gilbert will be held Thursday, June 15, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598. A funeral service will occur Thursday, June 15, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598. A committal service will occur Thursday, June 15, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM, 21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598.
