Grace Virginia Morgan, 91, passed peacefully from this earth on December 22, 2013. She was born October 7, 1922 to Thomas and Cornelia Thompson in Houston, TX. Grace attended Austin High School where she was a member of the Scottish Brigade. After graduation, she worked for Southwestern Bell for a period of time before moving into the medical transcription field. She later retired in the late 70s.
Grace is preceded in death by two husbands, Jay Allen and Grady Morgan; two sons, Thomas and Michael Allen. She is survived by daughters, Virginia Hall and Carolyn Allen; sons Patrick Allen and wife Diana, and Donald Morgan and wife Kim; daughter, Cindy Morgan and granddaughter, Casey Morgan, with whom she lived with for the past 25+ years, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 26, 2013 from 5PM to 7PM at Forest Park East Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Friday, December 27, 2013 at 3PM in the Chapel of Forest Park East Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery.
