Guillermo Luis Robles, 78, was born on June 26, 1948, in Aguascalientes, Mexico, and died on September 22, 2026. A longtime resident of Houston, Texas, Guillermo built a life defined by devotion—to family, to faith, and to the steady, honorable work he carried proudly for decades.

For 40 years, Guillermo served as a mail carrier, a role that suited his steadfast nature and daily dedication. Through years of early mornings and familiar routes, he became a dependable presence and a reminder that a good life is often made in consistent, caring ways. His faith was also an abiding part of who he was, rooted in The Church in Houston and reflected in how he carried himself and cared for others.

Beyond his work and commitments, Guillermo found joy in the simple, bright pleasures that made each day richer. He had a passion for plants, taking quiet satisfaction in nurturing life and watching it flourish. He also loved sports—cheering for the soccer team Chivas and following football with enthusiasm for the Texans and the Cowboys—always ready for the camaraderie, spirit, and excitement that sports can bring.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Consuelo Sanchez and Guillermo Robles; his sister, Patricia Robles; and his daughter, Nikki Potts.

Guillermo is survived by his wife of 53 years, Yolanda Robles; his son, Erik Robles and his wife Crystal Robles; his grandchildren, Sebastian and Scarlett Robles, and Jaxson and Savannah Potts; his son-in-law, Collin Potts; his sister, Olga Maltez; his brothers, Ricardo Robles and Carlos Robles; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Guillermo’s life was one of constancy and heart—measured not only in years, but in the love he gave, the responsibilities he honored, and the family he cherished. His memory will be carried forward with gratitude, shared stories, and a lasting sense of pride in the life he lived.
