

Irene Salce de Urbina went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on June 15, 2013. She was born in Linares, Nuevo León, México on July 3, 1908. She was preceded in death by her parents, Encarnación Salce Arrendondo and Juanita Sánchez de Salce and her two infant children: Manuel Jr. and Caleb, and her husband Rev. Manuel Urbina with whom she shared joys and rewards as the ideal wife of a Missionary Pastor, who established and pastored Mexican Baptist Church in Mexico and in Texas through a span of 37 years of devoted service in the vineyard of our Lord.
She is survived by her brother, Rev. Encarnación Salce Sánchez, and her two sons, Dr. Manuel Urbina II, and Dr. Adiel Marcos Urbina (wife Esther), and five daughters: Febe Gloria Urbina Salce, Bernice Urbina de González, Dorcas Urbina de DeSoto (husband Vivian), Eunice Urbina de Horning (husband James), and Loida Urbina de Boatman (husband Kenneth) and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will begin at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 19, 2013, at Forest Park East Funeral Home. Interment to follow.
