There are so many memories of JT during our visits to Houston to see Jana and Eric and the family. So many in fact that there is not a enough room on this page, but let's give it a shot...being picked up at the airport and pulling over 10 minutes into the trip to replenish with some Pearl beers, out of the trunk!.. to visit JT at the house, ignoring everyone because he was watching a basketball game and asking us during a tv timeout, "when did y'all get here?"...the infamous Luby's dining experience which lasted 12 minutes and JT asking if we were done yet...and one of the family favorites at Eric's fortieth birthday party when JT busts my chops and says " hey Jeff, I remember when you had hair!" And me looking at JT after his recent lawnmower incident, with his bandaged missing finger and me busting back with, " I remember when you had five fingers." From then on I was affectionately known as ____head...and proud to be his friend. However the best memory of JT is his genuine love of people, his love of life, his great humor, his good nature and above all, his complete love for Dottie and the family. We should all strive to live life as well as he did. We were blessed to have known him and will miss him dearly. Love Jeff aka ____head and Ellen

JT always made Mary and I smile when ‘he worked the room’ and stopped by to chat. He was a kind, sweet man who clearly enjoyed being with family and friends. We pray he and his lovely bride, Dotty, are together again after 20 years.
