James B. Hansen

James B. Hansen, 49, went to be with the Lord on July 17, 2010. He was born in Gardena, California on August 7, 1960, to Calvin R. and Jane M. Hansen. He has lived in the Houston area for over 40 years. He was a graduate of Clear Lake High School and of the University of Houston with a B.A. in Business.

James was a loving and caring husband and father and he will be missed by everyone that knew him, especially his family. He had a love for the outdoors and enjoyed surfing, dirt biking, motorcycling, and golf. James was an IT Engineer and had worked for United Space Alliance for 29 years.

He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Lisa Hansen, sons, Shane and Cody Hansen; parents, Calvin and Jane Hansen; siblings, Janet Lowe (Todd) and Ken Hansen; mother-in-law, Owietta Slebodnik; sisters-in-law, Cindy Slebodnik, Lois Wild, Marybel Slebodnik and Jamie Young; brothers-in-law, Gary and Steve Slebodnik and Larry Young; along with numerous nieces and nephew and other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will begin on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Freeway. A Funeral Service will be conducted on Thursday, July 22, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. at Forest Park East Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery.
