

Dr. Hebert was born in Texas City, Texas on October 19, 1935, to Jesse and Lela Mae Hebert. He was married to Carla Oden Hebert for 33 years. James was a proud Aggie, graduating from Texas A&M class of '57. He later went on to have a successful career in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery starting the office of Oral Surgery Associates in Webster, Texas; a practice that is still active and thriving today.
He was a member American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, Texas A&M Alumni Association, and the Clear Lake Chamber of Commerce, just to name a few.
He had a passion for the outdoors that included sailing, boating, fishing, hunting, and golf. James also loved cooking and spending time with his wife, family, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father and mother Jesse and Lela Mae Hebert, his first son James Wesley Hebert and Christy Saller Hebert.
He is survived by his wife Carla Oden Hebert

Graveside service will be held at Forest Park East Funeral Home and Cemetery, located at 21620 Gulf Freeway in Webster, Texas on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 2:00 p.m.
