Janet was born at home September 23, 1929, in Stillwater, Oklahoma, to Ralph and Tura Boyd. She was the fourth of five children. She married Clinton Minnick on November 20, 1974. She studied to become an LVN, when she took the State Board for her license as a nurse, she made the second highest score in the state of Texas. She worked as an LVN at Southeast Memorial in ICU. Janet was a member of First United Methodist Church in Pasadena. Her Sunday school class there provided many cherished friendships. She will be dearly missed and is loved by all.
