Jessie M. Lopez

Jessie M. Lopez, a Vietnam veteran, passed away on Friday, July 31st in Webster, TX. while he was surrounded by his loving family. Jessie was born on February 5, 1946 in Galveston, TX to Juan and Belen Lopez. He retired from Marathon Oil after 26 years. He was currently working for CCISD in League City. Jessie is preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Ann Lopez; his parents and two sisters Lydia Kasey and Juanita Rehm. He is survived by his loving wife Beatrice Lopez of League City, TX; son John Anthony Lopez and wife Katie of Nashville, TN; grandchildren Michael, Grant and Lisa Lopez; brother Pedro Lopez and wife Alma of La Porte, TX; sisters Linda Maldonado and husband Manuel, Jr. of La Porte, TX, Sylvia Gordon and husband Joseph, Jr. of La Marque, TX. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Glen Rehm, Jr., Robert Lopez, Jr., Pedro Lopez, Jr., James Maldonado, Zachary Colpean and Austin Colpean. Visitation and funeral services will be held from 6pm-9pm on Tuesday, August 4th at Forest Park East in Webster, TX. The burial will be held on Wednesday, August 5th with a brief service beginning at 10am in the chapel at Forest Park East in Webster, TX.
