Jimmy Wayne Hyde, 68, of Houston, Texas, passed away March 8th, 2015. He was born in Augusta, Arkansas on June 17th, 1946. Jimmy graduated from Cotton Plant Arkansas and received a teaching degree from Arkansas Technical College. He was married to Loretta May Barnes on June 29th, 1969. Jimmy had a long career that included serving in the Army, working for social security, and working in procurement for NASA. He later worked for several years as Director of Acquisitions, Procurement, and Contracts for Al-Razaq Computing Services. Jim had a passion for reading, trivia, and history especially during the American Revolution era. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Loretta Hyde; daughter Briana Brown; son Paul Hyde and his fiancée Crystal Arnold; grandchildren Kayla Townsend, Sydney Cappo, and Gavin Brown; and his brother George Hyde and his wife Janet Hyde. A visitation will be held Saturday, March 14, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Forest Park East Funeral Home. The funeral Service will begin at 10:00 a.m. with interment to immediately follow in Forest Park East Cemetery.
