Jimmy worked for Shell, a chemical/oil plant, and retired after 35 dedicated years. He was passionate about his animals, country music/dancing, hunting, and collecting things. He loved his family, and always put them above all else. He had a heart as big as, if not bigger than, Texas. With his warm, comforting, and compassionate demeanor, no one stayed a stranger for long.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, and step-father, Earl Laroy Sherron.
He is survived by his brother, John Kennedy and wife, Sue Ann. Wife, Carol Kennedy. Children: daughter, Tonya Kennedy, and husband Andres Leal; son, Jerry Kennedy, and wife, Adriana; step-daughter, Carolyn Wanzong, and husband, Matthew Cejka. Grandchildren: Ryan Wanzong, and wife, Lina; Tori Wanzong, and spouse, Gustavo Leos; Brendie Spacek, and husband, Brandon Spacek; Jerren Kennedy and Kayla King; Penelope Leal; and Zackery Cejka.
