She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Charles H. Thompson Jr., her parents and her sister, Daisy Fite.
She is survived by her children, Wendell (Laurel) Thompson, Dennis (Debbie) Thompson, Bonnie Thompson, and Charlie Thompson. Her grandchildren include Brenda (Shane) Ashford, Bryan (Amanda) Thompson, Travis (Kim) Thompson, Tyler Thompson, Kristie (Ty) Wheeler, and Larry Thompson; along with her 17 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
The family would like to thank all of her doctors and home health care personnel that did a wonderful job helping Mom.
A visitation for Joe Ann will be held Saturday, August 24, 2024 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am with a funeral starting at 10:00 am and a committal to follow. All services will be held at Forest Park East Funeral Home and Cemetery, located at 21620 Gulf Freeway in Webster, Texas.
