Joe Gates

Joe had a career as a Sales Manager for Veolia, an environmental industrial company. He was passionate about his work, loved his job and all it entailed. He also loved to work in the yard with Mom. He truly enjoyed time spent with family and friends; and most especially his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by Roderick and Annie Mae Gates.

Joe is survived by his wife Sandra; son Rod Gates (Patti); daughter Suzanne Allen (David); grandchildren Lauren Allen, Connor Allen, and Jacob Gates; siblings Doris Layton (Johnny), Laura Evans (Steve), Karen Trobl (Jimmy), Frances McEntire (Larry), and Glenda Currie (Jack); and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Saturday, April 6, 2019, 2:00pm – 3:00pm at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas 77598. A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00pm, followed by a Committal Service in the Forest Park East Cemetery.
