Joe Ivan Stephenson III

He is survived by his long time companion, Pamela Golden also of League City; father, Joe Ivan Stephenson, Jr. of Shawnee, OK; sister, Debbie Stephenson of Shawnee, OK; sister and brother-in-law, Cathi and Jay Kidd of Soda Springs, ID. Joe is also survived by niece, Tiffani Swanson and her husband, Jared Swanson; nephew, Chance Hooper and his wife, Joan Hooper; niece, Amanda Hooper; nephew, Kyle Alexander; 4 grand nephews and 2 grand nieces. Joe was preceded in death by sister, Diane Ronck in 2002 and Mother, Elizabeth Stephenson in 2006.

Joe graduated from Ardmore High School in 1974 where he was active in basketball and Legion Baseball. He attended Seminole College where he was elected to Who's Who and served as President of the Student Council. Joe was an excellent student earning straight A's throughout his high school and college years. He graduated from Oklahoma University, and worked at Dow Chemical. Joe was currently employed by Heimlich and Payne where he worked as a District Administrator for 20 years.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at Forest Park East Funeral Home & Cemetery in Webster, Texas. Funeral services will be at 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 18, 2011 in the Chapel at Forest Park East Funeral Home with interment to follow. Rev. Bill Cole will officiate.
