After graduating from high school, he faithfully served his country in the United States Air Force from 1957-1962. After completing his military service he began a long and successful career in the field of aeronautics and flight simulation. Joe and his wife Lynne were also the owners of The English Rose Florist for many years and made many friends in the community.
Joe was predeceased by his parents, his brothers John, George, and Charles, and his sister Eileen.
Left to cherish Joseph’s memory are his loving wife of 64 years, Lynne Bach, his daughters Mary Louise Pompette, Julie Lynne Lange, Annette Kay Rossi, his son Gregory Joseph Bach, and sons in law Michael Pompette, Dean Lange and Tony Rossi. He also leaves behind his sisters Rose, Ann, Christine and Cathy and brothers James and Francis, as well as 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Joseph was devoted to his family, often hosting holiday meals for the entire family. He was known for his heart of gold and will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched.
A Memorial Mass in Joseph’s memory will be held on April 27, at 1:00 PM, at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church located at 18223 Point Lookout Drive Houston, Texas.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Joseph’s name to the American Cancer Society, Alzheimer’s Association or OAR (Organization for Autism Research).
